SAFEGUARD was called to a building
in London to investigate continual
complaints of flying insects. When
we inspected the 'well' area which
housed the air conditioning units
it was clear to see that accumulated
feral pigeon droppings, feathers
and nesting material was harbouring
these insect pests.
Breathing in the 'dust' caused
by accumulated bird faeces is one
of the direct routes to man contracting
disease. People who suffer from
asthma and eczema can suffer especially.
