Our latest Natwest Plc project was completed last week with huge success. We installed a specialist bird proofing net on the rooftop of their Southend on Sea branch in Essex. The entire rooftop area was covered with a 50mm black polyethylene bird net. Site specific metal brackets had to be made up for the works to hold the upright poles in place, which formed the perimeter of the net.
At the beginning of this month we completed all the bird proofing works at Surrey Quays station. Various deterrent systems such as bird netting, point (spikes) and stainless steel mesh were installed to ensure a “pest” free environment. The works had to be carried out during engineering hours over a two week period by two teams and the use of specialist access equipment.
