Great Ormond Street Hospital
We have carried out preventative pest control to the entire Great Ormond Street Hospital estate previously including bird proofing services.
The pest service was specifically designed for the hospital and its specific requirements. Our relationship with the management, catering and maintenance department was a very close one which we had built up over the duration of the contract. We have always aimed to give our expert knowledge to the management team as much as possible, which they have always taken an interest in, to such a degree that they now are BPCA qualified. This helped contribute to better running of the pest prevention service throughout the site as there is a greater understanding of pests and the importance of housekeeping and proofing issues.

Connect Plus – The Dartford Crossing
The Connect Plus consortium comprises of Atkins, Balfour Beatty, Egis Road Operation Uk and Skanska.
Safeguard is employed to carry out specialist cleaning works, to the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge (Dartford Bridge). These cleaning works comprise of the removal of pest bird fouling from numerous sections of vital maintenance areas. We also install preventative proofing measures where required as well as managing the resident bird population.

Balfour Beatty and Carillion - The East London Line Project
We provide preventative pest control throughout this major construction project to all sites and bird proofing to bridges and stations. This includes out of hours working, working with engineers, TFL and surveyors.

Kier - Kings Cross Station
Leading on from our success at St Pancras International we have now been awarded a contract for specialist cleaning and refurbishment works at Kings Cross Station. These works form part of the £500m redevelopment project of this Victorian station, originally opened in 1851.
Safeguard is currently employed to remove existing pest bird proofing measures and fouling from the main shed roof, with the view of reinstating new proofing measures on completion of the refurbishment works.

NHS Trust – The Lewisham Hospital
Safeguard have been providing pest and bird control services for Lewisham Hospital for over 15 years. In this time we have built up an excellent relationship with their dedicated facilities department.
The provided services include preventative pest control programmes, specialist cleaning works, the installation of pest bird proofing measures and managing the resident pest bird population.
