Beneath a spectacular, undulating glass roof, the progressive, bright and sleek design of Westfield encompasses five anchor stores, more than 265 speciality shops, over 40 places to dine and a state of the art 14 screen cinema, with a retail floor area of 150,000m2 (1,615m ft2). To demonstrate their commitment to their staff, property, tenants, customers and the surrounding environments, Westfield realises the importance of a preventative and integrated pest management service.


Safeguard is the preferred contractor to deliver this service for Westfield, not just to the retail units, but also for management suites, reception areas, offices, meeting rooms, main kitchen and catering areas supported by 24-hours a day 365 days a year callout and repair service.
To ensure we meet the high standards and specifications determined by Westfield we carry out weekly routine inspections on the entire main site, as well as the external perimeter, to monitor and inspect the various areas for any activity. Combined with this we also conduct management programmes against pest birds, such as bird point and netting systems, which prevents them from roosting or nesting on site.
