The challenge

Workspace Group owns and manages an extensive selection of commercial space. Their business centres are situated in prime locations throughout London, which include offices, studio spaces, workshops, warehouses, industrial units and even virtual offices.

With 94 estates, totalling 3.3m sq. ft. of lettable space within six miles of the London Eye, and a total lettable floor area of 5.02m sq.ft., Workspace Group realises the importance of a comprehensive pest control regime.

How we helped

Safeguard have been providing a rapid response service for Workspace for many years now to most of the properties within the portfolio. This includes reception areas, meeting rooms, studio spaces, warehouses, etc.

To ensure we accommodate the high standards expected by Workspace, we have implemented a robust routine pest control specification for both internal and external areas. Each site is bespoke and surveyed by an experienced surveyor to determine the most appropriate treatment to implement.

We provide a comprehensive service which includes most common pests and rodents as well as emergency call outs during normal working hours, which has proven to be the most cost-effective approach.

Results

As part of our continual monitoring, we also carry out riddance programmes by making use of conventional trapping systems to control the rodent population with a more immediate effect, where required. Combined with this we conduct management programmes and quarterly review meetings to ensure the best practice is applied to site at all times.
