You Spot a Mouse? Call The Pest Control before itโ€™s too Late

Act fast, call the Pest Control Professionals, if you suspect that mice are in your commercial and business premises.

If left unchecked, and in ideal conditions, a breeding female can produce as many as 2,000 offspring in a year!

Mice (more often known as โ€œhouse miceโ€) are carriers of disease, prolific breeders and, as such, need to be dealt with swiftly and effectively. If you find mouse droppings or signs of gnawing you need to act straight away.

furthermore, if you see the mice, especially during the daytime, itโ€™s a sign that you already have an established mouse infestation; so, your best course of action is to call in the pest control professionals.

Once you realise you have a mouse infestation, there are several ways that you can get rid of them. Once an assessment has been carried out, the most effective treatment programme will be recommended.

Typically, the more established the infestation or complex the premises layout, the longer the treatment will take to gain control.

The most common method is to lay rodenticide bait stations in the affected areas. The professional pest control company will then return to your premises to further inspect, treat and advise on any housekeeping or proofing recommendations, such as:

  • Keep all food sources in sealed containers.
  • Wipe down any food preparation areas with disinfectant at least once daily โ€“ more if you have a commercial food business.
  • Mice can squeeze through the tiniest of gaps and theyโ€™re excellent climbers.
  • Blocking holes around windows, door frames, brickwork, outlet pipes and ventilation pipes.
  • To continue to monitor for signs of mice; i.e. droppings, gnaw marks and nesting material.
